Counselling Supervision

Reflective supervision for counsellors and trainees

I offer a calm, supportive space for counsellors and trainee counsellors to reflect on their client work, professional development and the responsibilities of practice.

Online supervision available.

The space

Supervision as a reflective space

Supervision is more than a requirement of practice. At its best, it is a steady, reflective space where counsellors can think carefully about their work, their clients, and themselves as practitioners.

Together, supervision can support you to reflect on client work, explore ethical questions, notice your own personal and professional responses, and develop confidence in the way you practise.

It is also a space to acknowledge the emotional demands of counselling work — to feel supported in maintaining safe, thoughtful and sustainable practice.

A space to pause, reflect and return to the work with greater clarity.

Who it's for

Who I can support through supervision

Supervision can take different shapes depending on the practitioner, their stage of training, and what they are looking for. The list opposite gives a sense of who supervision with me may suit.

My approach

My approach to supervision

My approach to supervision is grounded in person-centred values. The aim is to offer a respectful and thoughtful space where supervisees can speak openly about their work, including the parts that feel uncertain, complex or emotionally demanding.

Supervision can include reflection on client work, boundaries, ethical questions, confidence, development, and the impact of the work on the practitioner. I see supervision as collaborative — shaped together, with attention to both client wellbeing and the wellbeing of the practitioner.
